What We Do
We accomplish our mission by:
- researching women’s stories and collecting oral histories
- creating performance pieces based on working women’s stories and presenting them in public venues, unions and schools
- developing study guides for performances in schools
- publishing women’s stories in our e-newsletter, on our website, and in print
- hosting events in which we invite women to tell their own stories and describe their work
- partnering with other educational organizations whose mission and programs address women’s history, labor rights, and women’s issues
- providing a Facebook page to encourage readers to express their thoughts and ideas.
